Last order dates for Christmas 2022

UPDATED 2nd Dec 2022

We have today been informed by the Royal Mail that recommended last collection dates for Christmas orders have been brought forward by 1 week. This is due to ongoing strike action.

We are incredibly irritated about this situation as it means we will also have to bring forward our last order dates so there is still a chance your customers will receive their items in time for Christmas.

At this time we cannot currently guarantee any deliveries will happen within our normal quick timeframes. We don't wish to disappoint you, but this situation is totally outside of our control.

Domestic Deliveries

Our original last order date for Royal Mail 48 was 15th December. These are the new dates we are advising:

  •     Royal Mail 48: Thursday 8th December
  •     Royal Mail 24: Sunday 11th December
  •     Royal Mail 48 Tracked: Sunday 11th December
  •     Royal Mail 24 Tracked: Wednesday 14th December
  •     DPD Courier: Wednesday 14th December

International Deliveries

For international orders, our original last order date was the 8th of December,  due to the change by Royal Mail we can no longer commit that any new orders will be delivered by Christmas.

Note that orders received after these dates will still be manufactured and shipped, but items are unlikely to arrive before Christmas.

If you offer Courier delivery in your stores, you may want to push your customers towards using that method when they place their orders. Our courier provider DPD have notified us that due to unprecedented demand they have some delays in their network. Check DPD delays in your area.

Note that orders must be marked as PAID in your GoCustom account by the above dates.

Orders received after these dates will still be processed but any delivery before the Christmas holiday will be dependent on the delivery network's capacity to deliver. Note that whilst we will make every effort to dispatch your order on time, we are at the mercy of the delivery companies once your order has left our premises.

Also, note that our factory will close on 23 December and reopen on 4 January. Orders placed between these dates will take longer to fulfil than our normal 3 to 6 business days. Over the holiday we will do our best to respond to any queries about your account, replies may take longer than normal.

Action:

Set your customer's expectations now! It's a good idea to communicate clearly on your websites the last dates that you can accept orders. Remember that you need to leave enough time to pay for your orders.

Royal Mail Disruption

Note that Royal Mail workers have opted to take multiple days of strike action during the run-up to the festive season, this may affect the delivery dates provided above.
